To install a sensor in a container do as follows:
- Use the attached drill template and position it as shown.
Make sure that the drill template is aligned.
Mark all 3 holes with a 3mm drill bit. - Drill the holes to the correct size as shown.
The 13mm holes need to be exact because it aligns the hole sensor. If the diameter of these holes is not correct then it will affect the functionality of the switch for the lid and the status of the lid will not be correct. - Be sure to bevel the edges carefully.
Both on the outside and the inside.
This is how it should look like. - Place the main part as shown.
- Carefully install the sensor part as shown.
Let the 2 guide pins guide so that the connector between to two sensor parts is guided in correctly. The sensor is assembled by itself, but be careful to hold against the top side when the screws are screwed in. - Take the 2 supplied screws and tighten firmly.
Be careful not to overtighten. Still, the main part of the sensor must be firmly attached. Do not tighten the first screw until the second screw is screwed in. Then tighten the two screws alternately until they are properly tightened.
This is how it looks like when it's properly installed. - Test the functionality by closing the lid.
The front LED should light up blue. Try to open, then the LED should turn orange.
If the test was correct, the sensor has been installed correctly. If the test was not successful, check the installation and re-test.
